How to fix the top 5 Internet Explorer problems?

The computer's IE is often attacked by malicious sites or software frequently. This troublesome action can disable IE and cause a large number of IE errors.
Because computer viruses are aplenty, when you use anti-viruses software do manage to contain them most of the time, but some may make some irreversible changes to your computer, especially in the registry which maybe much more difficult to correct.

It's beyond the scope of this article to cover all of the potential fixes for my "Top 5" Internet Explorer issues, but what you'll find here is what experience has taught me is most likely to succeed.

1. Issues viewing Web pages:

Page cannot be displayed;
Red x instead of pictures;
View, Source doesn't work.

Reason 1: The image is hosted on a website that's busy, temporarily offline or defunct. Or the image file on the website might have been renamed or deleted.
Solution: Try again later or ask the sender to send it as an attachment instead of an inline image.

Reason 2: The image is hosted on a website, and you're not online.
Solution: Make sure your internet connection is active and try again.

Reason 3: Your Internet Explorer security settings are set too high, preventing you from accessing the web site which hosts the image.
Solution: Reset to the default security settings. Within Internet Explorer pages, click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Default Level

2. Issues viewing IE homepage and Default page:

If adware or spyware change your default home and/or search pages in Internet Explorer, you can change them back again. Note that if adware or spyware is still on your system while you make these changes, they may revert back, so be sure to clean your system first.

1. Open an Internet Explorer page.
2. Click Tools and Internet Options.
3. When the settings dialog opens, click General.
4. Underneath "Home page", enter your desired Internet Explorer home page.
5. Or, if desired, choose “Use Current” or just “Use Blank” page as your home page.
6. Click "OK” and save your settings.

3. Issues related with deleting IE URL history:
Whenever you open a site in Internet Explorer, its URL is saved automatically and can be seen by clicking on the little down arrow in the address bar.
Many times we want to delete a particular URL from this list. Internet Explorer provides a way to clear the whole History. You can also set the days to store the history from Internet Explorer Options but there is no way to delete any particular URL from history.

Today I'll tell you how you can delete your desired URL from IE History:

1. Open regedit and goto:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
2. In right-side pane, you'll see all typed URLs as shown in following screenshot:
3. Delete the desired URL and it'll disappear from IE URL bar history.

4. Issues related with enabling registry editor:

To enable registry editor that was disabled by some malware, please do the following to regain access and perform maintenance:

Enable Registry Editor using Group Policy Editor
1. Click on the Start > Run and type ”gpedit.msc” on the field (without “).
2. Navigate to:
- User Configuration
- Administrative Templates-
- System.
3. On the option: Prevent access to registry editing tools
4. Click Disabled and click on the OK button to save settings.
5. Reboot your computer.

Enable Registry Editor Using Registry Keys
If the above procedure does not work. You may also use a tool to reset registry keys. Make sure to backup your registry before making any changes.

5. Issues related with IE right button:
Many websites nowadays disable the right click function of the mouse button which I think could be very annoying sometimes. This is done so that we can’t steal images, file, video, or any other website’s stuff. What about if we extremely in a need of the file without any profit-making and other bad intentions? In this post a tutorial is included to teach you how to solve the problem, without having to open the source code of course!

If you use Internet Explorer 6 and 7
1. Click “Tools”->”Internet Options”
2. Click the “Security” tab.
3. Click “Custom Level”
4. Scroll down to the “scripting” section.
5. Set “Active Scripting” to “disable” (Active scripts are programs written in Javascript)
6. Click “Ok”. Restart your internet browser.

Note: This will disable the Javascript from being rendered by your Internet Explorer browser which would mean the right click disabled’s script in the website will not work anymore.

System Service Optimizer

Introduction of System Services

Service is a kind of application that runs in your pc background. Any application that signs up to use services automatically has access to the advertised functionality through its Services menu. An application does not need to know in advance what operations are available; it merely needs to indicate the types of data it uses, and the Services menu makes available the operations that apply to those types of data.

Service can be divided into three parts "Automatic", "Manual" and "Disabled" according to the startup type. Every service has a specified authority.
Here it is:
"Automatic" services mean those that will be automatically enabled when your system is started or you use the service at the first time.
"Manual" services are those that will not be enabled unless you manually start up them before you load the system.
"Disabled" means those services that can not be automatically or manually enabled.

Actually, as to Auto-run services, some of those are necessarily needed but some others can be blocked up or disabled. Most of people do not know how to judge this. Here I will suggest you a way that can increase system performance, and service status with a simple click of the mouse, according to user preferences.

How to optimize your service

Maybe you are a student at school, maybe you are at home or on the internet cafe, maybe you are a worker in the office or you are using a notebook, different background of computer usage ask for different system services. How to make good use of your system services according to your using model?
Let Registry Winner
( Optimize Your PC ) help you which can easily optimize or restore the services by providing users with Setting Wizard module and make a best decision for you.

With Registry Winner
Speed Up Your Slow PC,
you just need to click several buttons easily and choose your using model according to your pc background or your preferences. It will help you to decide a good optimization accurately and automatically based on your choice.

How to Use Memory Optimizer?

When there are some applications running simultaneously, they definitely acquire extra memory space which will lead to slow processing of the applications and other programs. Because the applications take up more memory space and reduce the working, the computer system will become slower and slower.

Memory Optimizer of Registry Winner software (RegistryWinner.com) is designed to optimize your computer’s memory usages and make it work fast by recovering the unused memory of your system. It is a comprehensive and easy-to-use Windows utility to free up physical memory in order to speed up program access, which can easily let system run faster, smoother and more efficiently.

The simple procedure to optimize memory is as following:
Click the Optimize PC icon in the Main interface of Registry Winner.
Click the Memory Optimizer icon.
Click the Fast Defrag icon to release physical memory in a fast speed without affecting the system speed.
Or click the Deep Defrag icon to release the most physical memory.

Recommendation:
Fast Defrag can release physical memory in a fast speed without affecting the system speed. After the memory release, the running speed of applications will be improved because the memory has been arranged more scientifically. However, after using the Deep Defrag feature, it can lower the overall performance of the system. Because it causes the running application to re-exchange data between physical memory and virtual memory.

If you are not familiar with computer system, we recommend you choose Fast Defrag feature to optimize memory.

After using the Memory Optimizer tool, you will soon find that Registry Winner has already made your PC in a fantastic state. This leads to best system performance and a stable computing environment.

Besides, there are many other additional tools in Registry Winner (RegistryWinner.com), such as: Evidence Cleaner, Junks Cleaner, Files Shredder, BHO Manager, IE Recover, etc.

How to Remove Bad BHOs?

What is A BHO?
BHO, the full name is Browser Helper Object which is just a small program that starts up automatically when you boost your Internet browser. Usually, a BHO is installed on your system by another software program. For example, an Adware with downloading functions will install a BHO which could track what advertisements you have seen as you surf the net.

Pros and Cons
You may ask what do BHOs do? The technical answer is "anything", and there are benefits and drawback on both sides.

For one thing, BHOs will help users to easily access the Internet or they have some additional functions of simplifying the net procedures. The BHO can be used to install additional features or functions that are useful, such as the Google or Yahoo toolbars, which are examples of good BHO's.

For another, some BHOs are so called "ad-ware" or "spyware" which monitors your online experience and reports this data back to their creators; Other BHOs such as the MyWay Searchbar track users' browsing patterns and deliver the information they take record of to a third party. BHO's, in and of themselves, are not bad. But, if the BHO can be used to install additional features or functions that are useful, it can also be misused to install features or functions that are malicious. Some applications, such as the Google or Yahoo toolbars, are examples of good BHO's. But, there are also many examples of BHO's which are used to rob your Web browser home page, spy on your Internet activities and other malicious actions.

How to Identify BHOs?
Since many bad BHOs will harm the computer and destroy its security, and even sometimes destroy valuable data or corrupt system files, furthermore, they occupy too much room of the net page, it is better to identify and remove them safely. Then how to identify those BHOS whether they are good or bad? Besides your own judges, there is a software called Registry Winner software.

How to Remove BHOs?
One of Registry Winner software’s (RegistryWinner.com) functions is BHO Manager. It can easily manage all your Internet Explorer objects. This utility of BHO Manager provides a simple, slick user interface that enables you to easily view registered controls (objects) and manage misbehaving controls (objects).

To Remove the BHOs:

1. Click the IE Tools, and BHO Manager.
2. Select an object or multiple objects or all the objects from the listed body frame.
3. Click the "Remove" button.

Note: when you select one object from the listed body frame, there is a detail about that BHO, such as File Name, Product Name, Description and Company. I believe you will definitely tell good from bad.

If you mis-deleted a BHO which is useful for browsing Internet, you could also use Registry Winner to restore it again.

To Restore the BHOs:
1. Click the IE Tools, and BHO Manager.
2. Click the "Restore" tab.
3. Select an object or multiple objects or all the objects in the listed body frame.
4. Click the "Restore" button.

Try Registry Winner (RegistryWinner.com) to manage your Internet Explorer in an easy way. Furthermore, it also has many other features such as registry optimizer, which will fix the computer errors and optimize the system speed.

Many pc uses are suffered this common problem that you see an immobilized screen. I have found that the most common cause of a screen freeze is because your computer has used up its entire RAM, thus it no longer has any memory to function on anymore, and so it freezes up.

------The solution

When you are faced such a trouble, 90% of time, just waiting for is what you can do. Wait several minutes and maybe you can find it unfreezes again. If not, you could use the keys “ctrl, Alt, Del” at the same time to get the Windows Task Manager frame. Choose the applications which are not responsive by highlighting them and click “End Task”.Chances are that most of the time the non-responsive programs would close and everything will work fine after that. If you are often met with the freezing problem or slow speed, you should be careful that this is the computer’s way to show your registry need be cleaned up. In order to save your time, you can try this cleaner

Let your PC work efficiently!

This article will try to introduce some cases and methods to help you make your PC work more efficiently. It will hopefully enlighten you as to how to optimize your PC in a fantastic way, making you to get work done faster and with less effort.

One of the most common causes for computers slowing down is too many programs running. Whether or not you have made the settings to startup it automatically, these programs can eat lots of memory.

For example, you can check it from the right bottom of your screen: this is where many programs hide. In order to speed up your PC, you should close the useless programs by right clicking and selecting “Exit” or similar. Or you can use Registry Winner software (RegistryWinner.com) , one of its highlights is to manage the Windows startup procedure. From the Startup Manager List you can control what programs that are automatically launched when Windows starts.

The next cause is related to anti-virus program. Your anti-virus software may be too zealous to scan your hard drive at inappropriate times. This may slowdown the PC speed, because when the scanning take place, it causes a large load for the PC system. So it is necessary to check the setting of your Virus software.

One of other common causes is a little complicated to explain and understand. When you uninstall software and hardware, it is highly probable that remnants are left behind in your hard drive or registry that clog up your system, if you don’t use a good program to remove and fix these entries you'll be left with problems that cause imminent troubles.

Registry is what Windows uses to store hardware and software configuration information, user preferences and setup information on your computer. The longer you own your computer, the more errors and invalid entries your registry is likely to have. Such as:
• Corrupted entries left in your Computer Registry
• Broken links and short cuts
• Applications that load when your PC starts up

All these troubles lead to decreased system performance and an unstable computing environment.

As to how to solve this kind of problems, you should try a kind of registry cleaner program to scan your PC and fix the registry errors.

Registry Winner (RegistryWinner.com) is a kind of software which performs an all-around scan of your Windows registry to detect and fix invalid references and incorrect errors. By using this tool, your pc will work more efficiently and run much faster.

Cleaning Up Your PC Junks

What is PC Junks?

Regardless of whether you want or not, over time your system will be crawled with unwanted files which may be under the form of empty folders, temporary files or simply junk items left behind upon uninstalling software. As the time of using PC goes by, the hard drive space of computer system will seem to shrink that is caused by un-useful applications, duplicates, junk and obsolete file accumulations, and the Windows registry becomes bigger and bigger. These unwanted files, un-useful applications and duplicate which will decrease PC performance are called PC Junks.

What are the causes?

In using a computer from day to day you're going to accumulate junk files. Some of them are a result of surfing the Web, and others will be left by programs you use.

When you are surfing internet, your browser creates a cache so that the Web sites you visit frequently will load faster next time. And then many of the files need to make up that web page are on your computer which are the main causes why these sites can be loaded much faster. However, they can also take up a lot of room on your hard disk.

It is true that programs often need hundreds or thousands of individual files to work. When you want to use such a program, of course it will create some files which are used to support the applying of the program and the data that it temporarily needs. So, then some junk data are left behind on the disk.

This scattering of junks occupies more space which lowers the system performance. Normally, the system uses part of the hard drive memory as swapped main memory. In order to make your system run faster or keep your PC in a fast speed, you could use some programs to cleanup the junks that can speed up general system performance and free up valuable space on your hard drive.

How to clean up

You may know that windows comes with a basic clean up utility called disk cleanup. To access to, this click start -> All programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup. And maybe you want to delete those junk files hand by hand. But if you try to delete these files during middle of some process, may restrict to delete these due to sharing of files by the application. So deleting these files may cause harm to the application. As it is a tedious, time-consuming task, you may then want an easier or a safer way.

Actually, Registry Winner can help you for this.
( RegistryWinner.com )

With the function of Junks Cleaner and Disk Cleanup, Registry Winner
Online free scan to see how many PC errors
can not only perform a scan to detect useless files and empty folders, but also clean up the junk files from your system to provide more free space on your hard drives and allow applications to run faster and more efficiently. Even the least-experienced user can use this with just a few mouse clicks.

By cleaning your disk, your computer will run faster and you won't have to worry as much about filling your hard drive and replacing it with a newer, bigger one.
