Several Steps to Solve pc no Sound problem!

Most of you have met such kind of problem, you pc becomes quiet and no sound at all; or just some programs can make sound and others can not. Aimed at this problem, we have make a report and give several steps to solve pc no sound problems.

First, we advise you to make sure one point that your hardware is in good. You should first check your horns and sound card. It is easy to inspect whether your horns work right or not. As for your sound card, you can have it examined on a second computer. If all these work right, then go ahead.

Second, please make sure that all the connecting wire is correctly joint. Then turn on the power of the stereo and open up the sound volume.

Third, please correctly install the driver of the sound card. If your sound card is integrated on the mainboard, it is better to install the sound card provided by the mainboard. Usually there will be a horn icon on the down-right of the toolbar after finishing installing the sound card driver. Actually, most no sound occasions result from incorrect installation of sound card driver.

Forth, please reset the sound volume after installation of the sound card. As to how to set the sound volume, please follow the steps below:

Double click the horn icon on the taskbar and set the Volume Control and the Wave Form to the highest level on the pop-up Volume Control dialog box. Make sure that it is not on the silent mode.
If there are not such two choices as the Volume Control and the Wave Form, please click Option on the up-left of the Volume Control dialog box. Then click Properties and choose the Volume Control and the Wave Form.

Note: Only have you correctly installed the sound card driver first can you go on the forth steps.

Sometimes, you may have some programs such as the downloaded Games which can not sound probably. That is because they may have their inside sound settings. If such programs have no sound, please check the built-in volume control.
