What is BHO Manager?

BHO stands for Browser Helper Object. When you use IE, it will load all BHOs in your system automatically. Some BHOs are good ones and can facilitate some cool functions to IE, but there are also some bad BHOs, such as spyware.

Some BHOs install toolbars in Internet Explorer, but others don't produce any visible effect. Therefore, it is possible that your PC contains BHOs that you don't know about. Since it's relatively easy to write BHOs, many badly written BHOs will harm the computer and destroy its security, and even sometimes destroy valuable data or corrupt system files.
